Workshop Department
Workshop practices are the foundational, practical approach for acquiring skills to shape and make things. We impart the skills to the students by conducting practicals using different tools in various shops.
We established the setup with skilled instructors & supervisory
staff to teach the students. They conduct practicals by using standard and specified equipment. All sections are well managed for equipment spacing,
working conditions, environment, and discipline.
First-year UG Mechanical students are having Workshop Practices course in the odd semester. UG Mechanical 2nd year students have manufacturing and Machining Processes courses in the odd and even semesters, respectively. All the students have access to workshop facilities during their project coursework. Automobile club students are availing the facilities for making their Go-kart for the National FKDC competition.
