About Department
The Department of Computer Science & Engineering was established in 2016, is well-equipped with state-of-the-art infrastructure. The state of art infrastructure includes latest configuration desktops organized in seven different laboratories.
Department has established Computer Workshop, Programming Lab, System Programming lab, Computer Networking lab, DBMS lab, Project Lab, IOT lab .
Department will get location advantage of institute. Being situated in MIHAN rehabilitation colony, many social problems are open for student’s projects. Many well known software companies like TCS, Global Logic, Tech. Mahindra already started in MIHAN and few more will open in near future . Department conducted various programs in association with MCED and MITCON.
The Department has good industry interaction with Software industries, Government organization and Private Sectors around the region.
To provide platform for students to demonstrate skill, department formed student association called COMSA (Computer Student’s Association). Students are taking active participation project exhibition, hackathon, and organising various technical, cultural events.
More than 90% of students of 2022 batch are placed in ZOHO, Persistent, Infosys, TCS, Wipro, Birlasoft, Calegemini, Global Logic, Virtusa, SevenX, MindTree etc with total 111 offers with highest package of 12 LPA.
Students are involved in various industrial projects and completing internship from reputed industries and NGOs.
Students also participate in Unnat Bharat Abhiya, Instititute Innovation Council, E-Yantra club and various other clubs.
Department is running B.E. (Computer Science & Engineering) with intake capacity of 60.
